Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

This Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy (“Policy”) explains how all creative material associated with 3DLEGENDS® (“we”, “us”, “our”) is protected, owned, and governed. By accessing or using our website, services, or content, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Policy.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a written contract:
– All 3D models, textures, renders, animations, compositions, designs, artifacts, concept art, case studies, visual identities, AI-assisted works, scripts, storyboards, and interactive content created by 3DLEGENDS® remain the exclusive intellectual property of 3DLEGENDS®.
– All project files, including source files (such as .max, .blend, .fbx, .psd, .aep, .c4d, .exr assets, node setups, simulation caches, AI models, training data, prompts, and internal tools), remain fully owned by 3DLEGENDS® at all times.
No rights are transferred unless expressly agreed upon in a signed, written agreement.
Upon confirmed payment and project completion, clients receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the final delivered output only for the agreed purpose stated in the project contract or email confirmation.
This means:
– Clients may use the delivered visuals for the platforms, campaigns, or usages explicitly described.
– Any additional use, modification, distribution, or expansion of usage (print, TV, global campaign, resale, sub-licensing, etc.) requires written permission and may incur additional licensing fees.
3DLEGENDS® retains full ownership at all times.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
3DLEGENDS® reserves the unconditional right to:
– publish
– showcase
– share
– exhibit
– promote
– archive
– and display
any work created for clients — including modified, behind-the-scenes, breakdowns, and alternate versions — for portfolio, marketing, awards, pitches, social media, and presentation purposes.
This applies even if:
– the project was confidential during production, or
– the final launch has been postponed by the client.
Our right to self-promotion is non-negotiable unless contractually restricted.
Clients may not:
– modify source materials without written permission
– resell or license 3DLEGENDS® content to third parties
– claim ownership of any portion of our IP
– extract or re-use assets for unrelated projects
– train AI models using our visuals or project files
– remove watermarks, metadata, or proprietary signatures
– recreate or reverse-engineer models, rigs, shaders, or tools
– request source files unless explicitly paid for
Violation may result in immediate legal action.
All content created by 3DLEGENDS® (including final renders, WIP images, models, textures, and design elements) may not be used to:
– train AI models
– build datasets
– generate derivative works
– develop competitive tools
– or be reinterpreted through generative AI
unless a separate license agreement is signed.
3DLEGENDS®, however, retains the right to use AI for:
– ideation
– enhancement
– internal tools
– workflow optimization
– R&D
– new product development
while maintaining full ownership of all outputs.
If a project contains third-party elements (fonts, HDRIs, stock models, plugins):
– their usage is governed by the licenses of those providers
– 3DLEGENDS® ensures compliance
– clients may not extract those assets for independent use
If extra licensing is required for extended use, this is billed to the client.
All workflows, pipelines, scripts, scene-builders, render setups, AI prompts, simulation rigs, and technical processes developed by 3DLEGENDS® are proprietary intellectual property.
Clients receive final results, not our internal production systems.
These may not be:
– requested
– examined
– copied
– reproduced
– distributed
– or de-compiled
without prior written consent.
3DLEGENDS® enforces its intellectual property rights strictly.
In case of unauthorized use, distribution, or modification of our content:
– licenses may be terminated immediately
– legal action may be pursued
– costs, fees, and damages may be recovered
Clients agree that 3DLEGENDS® may use modern tracking tools (reverse image search, watermarking, blockchain tagging, AI detection) to monitor misuse online and offline.
