When industrial strength meets cinematic storytelling, the result is pure impact. For Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe, we transformed their global trade show presence into a hybrid of technology, storytelling, and innovation — where visitors didn’t just see power, they experienced it.
Challenge
Hitachi wanted to make a bold statement at the international construction trade fair in Paris. The challenge: how to showcase the immense force and engineering precision of their heavy machinery — without transporting tons of metal to the venue. The solution had to be immersive, space-efficient, and visually unforgettable.
The Result
We created a cinematic 3D animation that captured the raw power and precision of Hitachi’s machines in action — excavators tearing through rock, dump trucks releasing tons of earth, all set in a stylized, larger-than-life industrial landscape. Displayed in a custom-built mini theater, the film surrounded viewers with sight, sound, senses, and scale — turning each moment into a visceral experience.
But we didn’t stop there. We added an AR activation that invited visitors to take control: by scanning glowing markers on the floor, they could summon life-size virtual Hitachi machines into the real world. Each visitor became part of the story — engineers, operators, and storytellers at once.
Impact
The project redefined how industrial power can be showcased — blending engineering with emotion and innovation with imagination. Hitachi didn’t just demonstrate machinery; they demonstrated vision.
Immersive interactivity: Merging cinema, AR, and real-time engagement.
Smart logistics: Fewer physical machines, maximum impact.
Cinematic storytelling: Strength and innovation visualized with elegance.
Global appeal: Designed for international trade fairs, adaptable for digital campaigns.
Sustainability through simulation: Reducing carbon footprint by minimizing heavy transport.
