Every stage tells a story — and at Siam Songkran Festival, that story is one of energy, culture, and unity. In collaboration with Live Legends, we brought the festival’s mainstage to life: transforming early sketches and ideas into a fully realized 3D artwork that honors Thai heritage while radiating global festival appeal. The result is a visual centerpiece that blends tradition and technology — a timeless design built to move both hearts and crowds.
The challenge
The creative foundation for Siam Songkran was strong: a collection of sketches and mood boards that hinted at the soul of the event. But the challenge lay in translating those fragments into a complete, production-ready stage design — one that captured the spirit of Songkran (Thailand’s world-famous water festival) while aligning with modern festival standards of depth, lighting, and scalability. It needed to look breathtaking on-site, but also adaptable enough to evolve over future editions of the event.
The Process
We began by carefully analyzing the stage layout, using the client’s concept briefing and visual references as a creative compass. From there, we built a 3D foundation that added architectural depth, balanced symmetry, and rich detailing, turning a flat design into a multi-layered visual experience.
Every element — from ornamental structures and flowing motifs to the interplay of color and light — was crafted to reflect Thai cultural artistry while maintaining a strong, international visual rhythm.
The design process focused equally on artistic storytelling and technical precision: textures and lighting were simulated to ensure accurate print and stage translation, while the overall composition was optimized for projection mapping, LED integration, and live performance dynamics.

The final stage design became a defining symbol of the Siam Songkran experience — bold, intricate, and deeply connected to the festival’s roots. Its combination of cultural symbolism and modern design not only set the tone for the event but also laid the groundwork for future reusability across multiple editions.
